I was born and raised on Long Island, New York were I grew up in the fishing business.

 I have spent over 25 yrs working as a full time fisherman. From 1984 to 2005 was spent working as a commercial fisherman on the Bering Sea working on some of the Top producing Crab and Longline vessel in the fleet. Fall and winter were spent on the Crab grounds fishing Brown and Red King Crab and winter chasing opilio crab, just like on" The Deadliest Catch"

The rest of the year was spent splitting my time between Longlining Halibut and cod and Long Range Sportfishing out of san Diego making the long trip into Mexico in search of big yellowfin, yellowtail, wahoo and mahi mahi.

In 2005 it was time for me to step away from Commercial fishing in Alaska and pursue My dream of owning my own boat and my love and passion of sportfishing.

With the new 2007  26' x 9 Sea King stacked with twin 175's and loaded with Furuno Electronics and top of the line tackle I'm ready to tackle both offshore and inshore fishing.

My main goal and mission with Swell Rider sportfishing is to offer my clients a unique opportunity to experience a day on the ocean weather it's chasing big game out in the gulfstream or filling the freezer with bottom fish it will be a trip to remember.

 Those that fish with me will not just be considered clients but a part of the swell rider family. I want you to fish with me as if this was your boat and to come back time and time again.
